How does the service work?

You create an account, register your client and create an invoice for the work you've done. We review the invoice, send it to your client under our company details, and once the client pays you get your net salary paid into your bank account.

Do I need my own company?

No — that's exactly the point of our service! You invoice through us (Accly Systems AB) and we handle all the company administration for you.

What does the service cost?

The service fee is 1.45% of the invoice amount, minimum SEK 175 per invoice and maximum SEK 795 per calendar month. The price is the same whether you choose payout after each invoice or one combined payout per month. On top of the service fee you pay employer contributions (~31.42%) and preliminary income tax according to your tax table. There are no set-up fees or fixed costs.

How quickly do I get my money?

Once the invoice recipient has paid the invoice, Accly Frilans pays out your salary within 1–3 days. The money is paid into the bank account you've registered in your profile. With invoice factoring you can get paid before the invoice recipient has paid the invoice. In that case Accly Frilans takes on the credit risk, and an extra fee applies.

How do I create an invoice?

Log in, go to 'Invoices' and click 'New invoice'. Select or add a client, fill in what you did and at what price, and submit it for review.

Why does the invoice need to be reviewed?

We review all invoices to make sure they're correct and comply with current rules. This protects both you and your clients.

Can I invoice foreign clients?

Yes, you can invoice clients in other countries. VAT is handled differently depending on whether the client is within the EU or outside it. Contact us if you're unsure.

What happens if the client doesn't pay?

We automatically send payment reminders. If the client still doesn't pay, we can help you with debt collection for an extra fee.

How does the tax work?

We deduct preliminary tax according to your tax table before payout. At the end of the year you may need to file an income tax return declaring the income.

What are employer contributions?

Accepted Answer

Employer contributions are paid to the state and cover pension, health insurance and other social security contributions. The standard rate is 31.42%. For people aged 66 and over, a reduced rate of 10.21% applies. Between 1 April 2026 and 30 September 2027, a temporary youth reduction of 20.81% applies for 19–23-year-olds on salary portions up to SEK 25,000/month – any excess is taxed at the ordinary 31.42%.

Do I get any pension contributions?

Yes, part of the employer contribution goes towards your state pension. You build up pension just as if you were employed.

How does this affect my tax return?

Accepted Answer

You'll receive a statement of earnings from us that you use in your tax return. We also report automatically to the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket).

We use bank-level encryption and comply with GDPR. Your information is never shared with third parties without your consent.
